Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany is open to all young people between the ages of 6-18. Our Clubs are inspiring young people to become productive, responsible & caring citizens each and every day. Through the work of trained and educated youth development professionals and program specialists, as well as dedicated volunteers and support staff, Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany is committed to helping youth reach their full potential.

Our Story

For more than 50 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany has formed the bedrock of thousands of young people’s path to success. Along their journeys, the dedicated professional staff at our Clubs have been there to guide and shape our future leaders.

They have helped countless young people learn and practice skills, attitudes and behaviors that have allowed them to persevere in the face of obstacles and what many would consider insurmountable odds. Inside each Club you will find hundreds of curious minds tackling new challenges, budding artists discovering their creativity, enthusiastic athletes channeling their energy, and friendly engaging teens making strides to graduate from high school with plans to go to college.
