Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany is open to all young people between the ages of 6-18. Our Clubs are inspiring young people to become productive, responsible & caring citizens each and every day. Through the work of trained and educated youth development professionals and program specialists, as well as dedicated volunteers and support staff, Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany is committed to helping youth reach their full potential.

Power Hour

Ages 6-18

Power Hour: Making Minutes Count is an engaging homework help and tutoring program that encourages Club members of every age to become self-directed learners. We want every member to graduate on time with a plan for their futures. Power Hour is an important first step in that journey.

DIY STEM

Ages 9-12

Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany seeks to arm our young people with the skills and tools needed for the the jobs of the future. DIY STEM is a hands-on, activity-based program designed to connect youth to science themes and foster a lifelong interest in the STEM field.

Money Matters

Ages 13-18

Money Matters promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members ages 13 to 18. Participants learn how to manage a checking account, create a budget, save and invest, start small businesses and pay for college.
